OHP Reports 1 Million Pounds of Trash Removed From Tulsa Homeless Encampments

Operation Safe Results
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says its sweep of homeless camps in Tulsa has already produced staggering results. According to troopers, more than one million pounds of trash have been removed from state property.
Among the debris were hundreds of needles and other hazardous materials.

Impact of the Effort
Despite the massive cleanup, officials report that no arrests have been made so far. Only one person has been taken to a shelter.
