deevers seeks to pull the plug on drag shows

Members of the state Senate Public Safety Committee advance a bill banning drag shows in public places.  Senator Dusty Deevers says the bill is to stop performances which are harmful to children. Senator Regina Goodwin wonders if Deevers has an idea of what safe cross dressing is versus provocative cross dressing. Violation of the law could be a minimum sentence of a year or up to five years behind bars.
