This morning the U.S. Supreme Court heard the appeal of Oklahoma death Row inmate Richard Glossip. Attorney General Gentner Drummond appealed the state’s 1998 conviction to the supreme court because he became convinced state prosecutors did not follow the rule of law. Glossip is on death row for the 1997 murder of Barry Van Treese at an Oklahoma City hotel. A decision on the case is not expected until next summer.
