unsafe food additives could be going away

Senator Kristin Thompson is one step closer to banning unsafe food additives in Oklahoma. Senate Bill 4 prohibits any person or entity from manufacturing, selling, brewing, or distributing certain dyes and substances in food products beginning January 2027 and medications in 2028. The bill also requires a warning label disclosing all chemical food additives. SB 4 passed committee and heads to the Senate for a vote.
