Frontman Bono and guitarist The Edge will attend the event at Cain’s Ballroom, accepting the award on behalf of the band.

Award’s Significance

The Woody Guthrie Center honors artists who embody Guthrie’s legacy of promoting justice, equality, and human dignity through music. U2’s decades of activism and humanitarian work earned them this recognition.
