Sooners Head to Philadelphia to Face Undefeated Temple
Sooners Enter as Heavy Favorites
The 13th ranked Oklahoma Sooners are preparing for a Saturday matchup against the undefeated Temple Owls in Philadelphia. Oddsmakers list OU as 21.5-point favorites, but Head Coach Brent Venables isn’t taking the challenge lightly.
Head Coach Venables
“These are two different places as far as their culture and the way they’ve built things,” Venables said. “We know we’ll need to play our best.”
Momentum from Michigan Win
OU comes into the game after defeating Michigan in a contest that wasn’t as close as the score suggested. Venables credits improved execution and discipline as the reason the Sooners were able to pull away.
Kickoff and Broadcast
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. on ESPN2. Fans traveling east are encouraged to plan early, as Philadelphia traffic near the stadium will be heavy on game day.
