State Rep. Annie Menz Seeks to See Changes to Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Regulation

People fighting the ACCESS Oklahoma project say last week’s State Supreme Court ruling doesn’t end the fight.

This could drag on for years, and nobody is willing to say that it will not wind up before the Supreme Court. State Representative Annie Menz said the legislature will have a role.

“This is going to be a multi-step process and take place over the span of several years, maybe…,” Menz said.

Menz said the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority regulates without legislative oversight, and that needs to change.
