State lawmakers reject more of the governor's gaming compacts

The Governor has lost another effort to keep a pair of gaming compacts with two small Indian tribes intact. The legislature’s ten-member joint committee on state-tribal relations cites significant fatal flaws with the pacts and unanimously rejected the request from the Governor to approve them.
