Senator James Lankford says he doesn’t think that Tinker Air Force Base will lose 600 civilian employees nor will the Army Ammunition Plant in McAlester lose one thousand civilian employees. Saying that government reform is long overdue, Lankford said neither facility could function should the speculated layoffs actually happen.
