Senate Approves Tax Rebate Measure For Sports Team

The State Senate approved a measure giving a tax rebate to one major sports team in the state. Senator Mary Boren attempted to amend the bill to include women’s professional sports teams, but that was rejected. The bill passed by a 35-to-9 vote.
