Tishomingo public schools is increasing security after a racist viral social post. The post shows six students using printed off letters to form the “N” word. The activity was part of Scabble theme game during spirit week where students were assigned random letters and had to spell out words. The six students chose to spell out a racial slur. Tishomingo superintendent says this incident does not reflect the school or community and disciplinary actions have been taken against the students. In addition, all homecoming events have been cancelled at the school.
