Screw worms have turned up in Mexican cattle

All imports of beef, horse and bison are now blocked at the southern border because of a dangerous parasite.  Screw worms have been found in Mexican beef herds.  The larva of a fly eats the flesh of its host and can cause major health issues in any mammal.  State lawmakers have been briefed on the situation by state Agriculture officials.
