Integris Health and UnitedHealthcare Agreement Reached

A new Integris Health and UnitedHealthcare agreement means patients will continue to have in-network healthcare coverage across the Integris hospital system.

The previous contract between Integris Health and UnitedHealthcare had been scheduled to expire March 9, raising concerns that thousands of Oklahoma patients could lose in-network insurance access to doctors, clinics, and hospitals within the Integris network.

However, officials say both sides have now signed a new multi-year agreement that keeps UnitedHealthcare insurance plans accepted throughout the Integris system.

Coverage Continues for Integris Patients

The new Integris Health and UnitedHealthcare agreement ensures patients insured through UnitedHealthcare can continue receiving medical care from Integris Health hospitals and physicians without interruption.

If the agreement had expired, many patients could have faced significantly higher out-of-network healthcare costs when seeking treatment.

Negotiations between major healthcare providers and insurance companies can sometimes create uncertainty for patients when contracts approach expiration dates.

Healthcare Access Maintained

With the new Integris Health and UnitedHealthcare agreement finalized, patients will continue to receive care through the Integris Health network while using UnitedHealthcare insurance coverage.

Hospital officials say the agreement ensures continued access to Oklahoma healthcare services for patients who rely on the Integris system for medical care.
