pet overpopulation Is a Growing problem

An Oklahoma lawmaker wants to address the problem of overcrowding at animal shelters across the state. State Representative Mickey Dollens says he’s working on a bill that would make spay and neuter programs more accessible. Dollens says Oklahoma has a bad pet overpopulation problem. The proposed bill would increase the annual registration fee form 50 to 100 dollars for pet food manufacturers who sell their products in the state.
