Thunder One Win Away From NBA Finals Entering Game 6
The Oklahoma City Thunder are now just one victory away from the NBA Finals after taking a commanding 3-2 lead in the Western Conference Finals over the San Antonio Spurs.
Following Tuesday night’s high-scoring Game 5 victory, the Oklahoma City Thunder now head to San Antonio for a critical Game 6 matchup that could officially send OKC to the 2026 NBA Finals.
According to the NBA, the winner of the Western Conference Finals will advance to face the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals beginning June 3.
Game 6 tips off Thursday night at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
Oklahoma City Thunder Riding Momentum Into Game 6

Shai finished with 32 points while helping Oklahoma City secure a 127-114 victory at Paycom Center.
According to the Basketball Reference playoff database, Oklahoma City’s offense has consistently produced some of the highest-scoring performances of the postseason during the Western Conference Finals.
The Thunder also received major contributions from their bench and younger role players during the pivotal Game 5 win.
Rookie Jared McCain stepped into his first playoff start and delivered 20 points while helping stabilize Oklahoma City’s shorthanded backcourt rotation.
