OKC hires Outside firm to design the new arena

With 18 million dollars going to an arena design group, Oklahoma City hopes an outside group with a reputation of building quality arenas will make the difference for the next downtown sports arena.  CCA Icon has constructed arenas in Milwaukee, Sacramento and Los Angeles.  Design will take 15 months and construction of the 900-million-dollar arena will take more than two years.  It will be located where the old Myriad sits.
