OKC City Council is considering sending a nearly 3-billion-dollar general obligation bond to an October residential ballot. Most of the bond money would be used to fix streets and upgrade the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, the Softball Hall of Fame and 2028 Olympic venues. About 400 million dollars would go to the city’s parks and recreation department. The bond would come from property taxes.
