OK BASED OIL COMPANIES ARE BEING INVESTIGATED

A pair of major Oklahoma energy companies are part of a group of 18 firms now under investigation by the U.S. Senate Budget Committee.  Chesapeake Energy and Continental Resources are being asked for communications with OPEC officials involving oil production and prices.  The case grew out of documents found in the merger Pioneer Natural and Exxon.
