muskogee bumps police officer pay

Muskogee is increasing the sign-on bonus for new police officers from 10 to 15 thousand dollars.  Patrol Lieutenant Jarad Forbes says new additions are needed because there are times the city has only four officers on the streets to handle more than 100 calls. The department is currently down 10 officers from normal staffing levels.
