Lawton Man Sentenced in Federal Fentanyl Case Linked to Deadly Overdose
A Lawton man convicted on federal drug charges has been sentenced to more than 13 years in prison. Jurors found Breon Bellamy guilty of fentanyl distribution and drug conspiracy after prosecutors said he sold the deadly drug at a Lawton casino.
According to KSWO, the fentanyl Bellamy sold later ended up in the hands of a Stephens County man who died from an overdose, connecting Bellamy directly to the fatal outcome.

Bellamy was sentenced to 156 months—equivalent to 13 years—in federal prison.Federal sentencing guidelines do not allow for traditional parole, meaning Bellamy will serve the majority of his term.
