Ground is broken to Restore the Blue Whale

Even if you haven’t been there, you’re likely familiar with Catoosa’s iconic Blue Whale. City leaders recently broke ground on a project to enhance the park before next year’s Route 66 Centennial celebration. The upgrades are funded through nearly $2 million in state money allocated for Route 66 tourism projects and will include fire pits, a playground and neon signage.
