Fourth Suspect Arrested in Antlers Homicide as Investigators Continue Search for Victim
A fourth suspect has been arrested in an Antlers homicide investigation, but authorities are still searching for the adult male victim more than three weeks after a witness reported the killing to police.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation announced Wednesday, September 23, that 42-year-old Chelsea Driver was arrested in Pushmataha County and booked into the county jail on an accessory to murder complaint. Three other suspects were arrested earlier this month, including a man located in Wisconsin who faces a first-degree murder complaint.
Fourth Arrest Made in Antlers Homicide Investigation
The investigation began on September 2, 2026, when the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a caller who said they had witnessed a homicide.
Deputies responded that morning to a location in the 100 block of Northwest East Street in Antlers and requested assistance from OSBI.
Deputies and special agents began processing the scene and gathering evidence. Investigators initially identified three persons of interest, leading to arrest warrants issued through Pushmataha County District Court.
As the investigation continued, OSBI special agents identified Chelsea Driver, 42, as a fourth suspect.
Agents located and arrested Driver in Pushmataha County on September 21. She was booked into the Pushmataha County Jail on an accessory to murder complaint, according to OSBI’s September 23 announcement.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s investigative services division assists local law enforcement agencies with major crimes, including homicide investigations.
Three Other Suspects Arrested in Oklahoma and Wisconsin
The first three arrests occurred between September 8 and September 11, with multiple law enforcement agencies helping locate the suspects.
David Osterdock, 25, was arrested by the Idabel Police Department on September 8 and booked into the McCurtain County Jail on an accessory to murder complaint.
Bonnie Simpson, 28, was arrested by the United States Marshals Service on September 10. She was also booked into the McCurtain County Jail on an accessory to murder complaint.
The third suspect, David Basham, 29, was located in Wisconsin by the U.S. Marshals Service on September 11.
Basham was booked into the Sheboygan County Jail on a first-degree murder complaint.
The U.S. Marshals Service assists law enforcement agencies in locating and apprehending fugitives across state lines, an important part of the investigation after Basham was found outside Oklahoma.
OSBI credited the Marshals Service, Idabel Police Department, McCurtain County Sheriff’s Department and Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance.
The four arrests do not mean the investigation is complete. Authorities have not publicly detailed the alleged role of each suspect beyond the complaints identified in the OSBI announcement.
Criminal complaints are accusations, and all four suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
OSBI Still Searching for Victim in Antlers Homicide
Despite the arrests, investigators say they have not located the adult male victim.
OSBI has not identified the victim in its September 23 announcement or disclosed where investigators believe his remains may be.
The continued search is a significant part of the case. Locating the victim could provide investigators with additional forensic evidence and help establish the circumstances surrounding the reported killing.
Authorities have not announced a motive or released further details about what the witness reported seeing on September 2.
