Edmond officer stabbed during a traffic stop

An Edmond police officer who was engaged in a traffic stop is recovering from stab wounds after being ambushed in a parking lot.  A good Samaritan rendered aid to the officer before back-up could get there. The suspect was subdued and taken into custody shortly after additional officers arrived at the scene. No word on the officer’s condition.
