Demand for Medical Marijuana Is Exponential

During a recent news conference, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics shared concerns regarding the impact of legalizing marijuana. Since 2018, data shows Oklahoma has 12 times as many licensed medical marijuana growers as Colorado, and more than 3 times as many medical and recreational grows combined. OBN Director Donnie Anderson said the demand for medicinal marijuana is eclipsed by the amount produced, which causes an active black market.
