Four suspects are now facing serious felony charges in connection with the deadly Arcadia Lake murder case that left one teenager dead and 24 others injured during a mass shooting at a crowded campground in May.

The charges were formally filed by Oklahoma County District Attorney Vicki Zemp Behenna following a lengthy investigation into what prosecutors describe as a gang-related retaliation attack.

Authorities allege the violence erupted after members of rival gangs gathered at the Scissortail Campgrounds at Arcadia Lake on May 3.

The shooting claimed the life of 18-year-old Avianna Smith-Gray and became one of the largest mass shooting investigations in recent Oklahoma history.

Arcadia Lake Murder Case Leads To Multiple First-Degree Charges

The most serious charges in the Arcadia Lake murder case were filed against Jaylan Davis, 18, and Daviion Wyckoff, 21.

Both men face one count of first-degree murder along with multiple additional felony charges, including shooting with intent to kill, conspiracy to commit a felony, gang-related offenses, and firearms violations.

Court records show Davis is also charged with possession of a firearm after juvenile adjudication, while Wyckoff faces an additional charge of carrying a firearm while on probation.

Each is currently being held on a $10 million bond.

A third defendant, Breonn Morton, 23, is charged as an accessory to first-degree felony murder.

Investigators allege Morton removed a firearm from the crime scene after the shooting.

He is also being held on a $10 million bond.

A fourth suspect, Trinity Brown, 20, faces charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and illegal possession of a firearm after juvenile adjudication.

Brown is being held on a $100,000 bond.

According to the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office, the investigation remains active as prosecutors continue reviewing evidence gathered from the scene.

Investigators Cite Gang Retaliation As Motive

According to investigators, Davis reportedly sought revenge after rival gang members allegedly stole his firearm.

Wyckoff allegedly told investigators he was angry because marijuana had been stolen from him earlier that same day.

Authorities say what began as a verbal dispute between two females at the campground quickly escalated into a gun battle involving members of the North Side Piru and 107 Hoover gangs.

The exchange of gunfire sent dozens of people running for cover as chaos erupted throughout the crowded recreation area.

Investigators believe the shooting was not random but instead the result of a planned retaliation effort tied to ongoing gang disputes.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, gang-related investigations often require extensive forensic analysis and witness interviews before charges are filed.

Ballistics Evidence And DNA Help Build Case

Investigators recovered approximately 80 spent shell casings from the crime scene following the shooting.

Court documents indicate DNA evidence linked Davis to multiple recovered casings found at the lake.

Additional ballistics testing reportedly connected shell casings recovered from Arcadia Lake to matching casings later discovered during a search of Wyckoff's residence.

Prosecutors say the evidence helped establish connections between the suspects and the shooting scene.

The violence left 24 people wounded, with victims ranging in age from 15 to 28 years old.

The most tragic outcome was the death of Avianna Smith-Gray, who suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

According to the Edmond Police Department, investigators continue working alongside prosecutors as the case moves through the court system.
