Another step forward on the expansion of the Heartland Flyer

Half a million dollars in federal funds are launching the effort to expand the Heartland Flyer into Kansas. The money will help Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas create a service development plan, which is due next year. Up next, are applications for more funding under the infrastructural law for environmental impact and preliminary engineering.
