As major change has shaken the United Methodist Church, for the first time a woman will lead the Oklahoma Methodist Conference. Bishop Laura Merrill took over the leadership role this month. She comes from a long line of Methodist ministers beginning with her grandfather. She has been a methodist pastor for over 30 years.
