State Senator Mary Boren had been turned away when she wanted to be present for a discussion during an executive session last month.  She pointed out that wasn’t legal and a Friday letter from the AG’s office confirms that.  Attorney General Gentner Drummond hasn’t issued a formal opinion on the matter.  Boren has notified State Superintendent Walters and the board she intends to sit-in on its next executive session Wednesday of this week.
