A call to all boaters to wear life jackets

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is calling on lake visitors to practice safe behavior in and around open water. Officials say most fatalities involve adult males not wearing life jackets. Lake Patrol discourages drinking on lakes because it leads to disorientation and slower reaction times.
