Two Lawmakers Want To Limit virtual learning

Two lawmakers will try again to introduce a bill that would limit the use of remote learning days for schools in Oklahoma. Senate pro tem elect Lonnie Paxton and Senator Kristen Thompson plan to refile the bill that would only schools to move to virtual learning for inclement weather, staff shortages, illness, maintenance issues or if school administration deems it necessary and get approval from the Department of Education. The bill died last session.
