Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo Returns to OKC With New Career Fair

Oklahoma's largest oil and natural gas industry gathering returns to Oklahoma City next month, bringing thousands of industry professionals and hundreds of exhibitors to the OKC Fairgrounds.

The 2026 Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo will be held October 15 at the Bennett Event Center, with a golf tournament and industry mixer scheduled the previous day. The 29th annual event is hosted by the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, or OERB.

Organizers say more than 4,000 people attend the Expo each year, with nearly 300 exhibitors representing companies ranging from Oklahoma small businesses to major industry service providers.

2026 Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo Adds Career Fair

A major addition for 2026 is a new Career Fair, designed to connect oil and natural gas companies directly with people looking for work in the industry.

Participating companies will be able to promote open positions, conduct on-site interviews, recruit experienced and entry-level candidates and develop future hiring pipelines, according to OERB.

The Career Fair opens at 9 a.m. Thursday, October 15, alongside the main Expo floor, and continues until the event closes at 3 p.m.

The Expo itself is free for attendees who preregister online. Admission will be $10 at the door for those who do not register in advance.

The main event is held inside the Bennett Event Center, which provides approximately 201,000 square feet of continuous exhibit space at the OKC Fairgrounds.

That space will be filled with equipment, technology and companies serving virtually every part of Oklahoma's oil and natural gas industry.

Prospect Fair, Producer Panel and BBQ Competition Return

The Prospect Fair also returns after its introduction at the Expo in 2025.

The specialized event brings together geoscientists, engineers, landmen, operators, working-interest owners and royalty owners to present and evaluate opportunities including geological prospects, producing properties, leaseholds, mineral interests and working interests.

A Producer Panel begins at 10 a.m., featuring industry leaders discussing current challenges, opportunities and the future of oil and natural gas.

The Expo's fifth annual Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas BBQ Competition follows from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with teams from companies including Continental Resources, CP Energy, Heartland Energy Solutions, Precision Compression and Summit ESP competing this year.

The full lineup of events and Expo information is available through the official Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo website.

OERB says this year's event will also include a Polaris Ranger giveaway, with the drawing scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Attendees must be present to win.

Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo Begins With Golf and Mixer October 14

Expo activities actually begin one day before the main trade show.

The Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas Expo Golf Tournament is scheduled for October 14 at Lincoln Park Golf Course, followed by an exhibitor and golf mixer at the Bennett Event Center from 3 to 6 p.m.

The main Expo opens at 9 a.m. October 15 and closes at 3 p.m.

OERB describes the gathering as the largest and longest-running oil and natural gas industry event in Oklahoma. The organization says more than 300 exhibitors are expected for the 29th annual event, slightly higher than the nearly 300 exhibitors typically accessible to attendees.

The OKC Fairgrounds also lists the Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas Trade Expo for October 14 and 15 at the Bennett Event Center on its October event calendar.

Visitors can find venue information through the OKC Fairgrounds Bennett Event Center page.

For Oklahoma's energy industry, the two-day schedule combines recruiting, investment opportunities, new technology, business networking and the traditional Expo events that have developed over nearly three decades.

The 2026 Oklahoma Oil and Natural Gas Expo takes place October 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with free admission for attendees who register before arriving.
