Fair Officials Stress Safety First
The Tulsa State Fair opens today with new safety measures in place. Both the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and the Oklahoma Department of Labor say changes this year are designed to better protect families.
What’s New at Fair in 2025
Facial recognition system: Will help reunite lost children quickly with their families.
Drones in the sky: Deployed to detect unauthorized activity across the fairgrounds.
Ride inspections: The Department of Labor confirms no ride can open until it passes inspection.
The fair runs through October 5th and remains one of Oklahoma’s largest annual events.
