A major water technology company is bringing a $250 million manufacturing investment to Tulsa as Oklahoma leaders continue searching for solutions to long-term water supply challenges.

Genesis Systems, a Tampa-based technology firm, announced plans to expand operations into Tulsa to manufacture its innovative WaterCube atmospheric water generator, a system designed to create drinking water directly from humidity in the air.

The project is expected to create approximately 80 jobs while positioning Oklahoma as a growing player in emerging water technology industries.

The expansion comes as communities across Oklahoma and the nation grapple with increasing concerns about water availability, population growth, infrastructure demands, and industrial development.


Tulsa Water Technology Project Focuses On Atmospheric Water Generation

At the center of the investment is the WaterCube, a system designed to produce potable water by capturing moisture from the atmosphere.

Supporters of the technology say atmospheric water generation could provide an additional water source in areas facing growing demand or limited infrastructure.
