Court filings reveal that a local exotic dancer accused the couple of luring her with false promises before coercing her to perform under exploitative conditions. The woman reported threats, intimidation, and manipulation as part of the trafficking operation.
Federal investigators believe the defendants used both sex and labor trafficking tactics, blending coercion, fraud, and emotional control. The investigation remains ongoing as officials look into whether the pair victimized others across state lines.
Authorities emphasized that trafficking victims are often targeted through promises of employment or romantic relationships, and urged anyone with information to contact federal investigators.
