The Oklahoma City Thunder picked up their third straight victory with a convincing 124–95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Balanced Scoring Leads Thunder Win
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 30 points, continuing his strong scoring stretch. The Thunder also saw key contributions throughout the lineup, highlighting the team’s depth and defensive presence.
Ajay Mitchell added 17 points, while Jalen Williams finished with 13 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Chet Holmgren contributed 12 points, 10 rebounds, and a season-high six blocks, anchoring the defense in the paint.
Defensive Effort Sets the Tone
Oklahoma City’s defense limited Portland’s scoring opportunities and controlled the pace of the game, allowing the Thunder to build and maintain a comfortable lead. The team’s ability to generate stops and convert on the other end helped keep the Trail Blazers from mounting any sustained comeback.
Road Test Up Next
The Thunder will now head west to face the Golden State Warriors, as Oklahoma City looks to extend its winning streak on the road.
