This weekend features WWE Friday Night SmackDown in Oklahoma City, the Wheeler Ferris Wheel's 10th Anniversary Celebration, live concerts, comedy shows, outdoor markets, baseball, and plenty of family-friendly events across the state.

From downtown Oklahoma City to Norman and Guthrie, thousands of Oklahomans are expected to spend the weekend enjoying live entertainment, festivals, and outdoor attractions.

Sports entertainment fans can kick off the weekend Friday night as WWE Friday Night SmackDown comes to the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. The nationally televised event features many of WWE's biggest superstars competing live before a packed arena.

Comedy fans can catch Tiffany Haddish during a weekend of performances at the Bricktown Comedy Club, while theater lovers have one final opportunity to see Lyric Theatre's production of Sister Act before the musical closes Sunday at the Civic Center Music Hall.

Music lovers can also head to the Tower Theatre Friday night for the popular I LOVE R&B Party, celebrating classic and modern R&B hits.

Families looking for free or low-cost activities will find plenty of options throughout central Oklahoma.

The Wheeler Ferris Wheel celebrates its 10-year anniversary on Saturday with a full day of food trucks, live music, family activities, and discounted rides at the Wheeler District. The iconic Ferris wheel has become one of Oklahoma City's most recognizable landmarks since opening in 2016.

Over at Scissortail Park, shoppers can browse fresh produce, handmade crafts, artwork, and local vendors during the Oklahoma Creative Market & Farmers Market, which runs throughout the weekend.

In Norman, residents finally get to enjoy the community's postponed NFourth Fest Fireworks Finale, originally delayed by severe weather over the Independence Day holiday. The evening includes live music before fireworks light up the sky over Reaves Park.

Meanwhile, antique lovers can spend Saturday exploring the Big Fleatacular Market & Block Party in Guthrie, featuring vintage collectibles, local artisans, live entertainment, and fireworks.

Baseball And Waterparks Round Out Oklahoma Weekend Fun

Sports fans can cheer on the Oklahoma City Comets as they continue their home series against the El Paso Chihuahuas at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, one of downtown Oklahoma City's most popular summer destinations.

Families hoping to escape the July heat can also visit the newly opened OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark, where guests can enjoy the massive outdoor lagoon, wave pool, obstacle courses, zip lines, and other attractions available through day passes.
