The Council on Bond Oversight Approves Oklahoma Turnpike Authority to enter Bond Market

A half-billion dollars in bonds would fund the Access Oklahoma Project. The spokesman for Oklahomans for Responsible Transportation, Randy Carter, is disappointed in this decision by the Council on Bond Oversight.

“We really had our hopes that the Council on Bond Oversight would realize that the turnpike authority had not done the necessary due diligence,” Carter said.

Monday’s approval includes conditions to be met.
