the Choctaw Nation Makes Two Large Donations

Durant and Bryan County officials recently got nearly $340,000 from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Bryan County Commissioner, Scott Goad, says the money goes towards community projects. The city of Durant received more than $300,000. City Manager Pam Polk, plans to allocate funds to projects that will improve citizen’s lives. Donations from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma are intended to support development and sustainability.
