The “big, beautiful bill” Will cut SNAP benefits

Nonprofits in Oklahoma are warning the proposed cuts to SNAP benefits in the “big, beautiful bill” could eliminate billions of meals, overwhelm food banks and harm residents across Oklahoma. The proposed cuts total 287 billion dollars over the next 10 years. According to Feed America the cuts will eliminate 9.5 billion meals each year.
