District Attorney Jason Hicks confirms George Franklin Cole Jr. was found unresponsive in his jail cell shortly after appearing in court. Cole is facing 14 felony charges, including eight counts of child abuse, one count of child sexual abuse, and three counts of child neglect.
Cole was transported to a hospital for treatment and remains under guard.
