stay of execution issued is for John Hanson

For now, the execution of John Hanson later this week is on hold. An Oklahoma County judge granted the stay of execution until a lawsuit Hanson filed against the Pardon and Parole Board is over.  His attorneys argue one of the board members was prejudiced and that produced a 3 to 2 vote against clemency.  The ruling is being appealed.
