Search Continues for Missing SWOSU Student

Authorities and family members are asking for the public’s help in locating 18-year-old Southwestern Oklahoma State University student Logan Musil, who has been missing since September 12. Musil was last seen near the Weatherford campus, sparking a widespread search across Custer County.

Musil is described as 5 foot 9 inches tall, 130 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder-length black hair. His disappearance has shaken the tight-knit college community.

Volunteers and Officials Join Forces

Dozens of volunteers, along with police and university officials, organized a search party that combed through nearby rural areas, parks, and creeks. The Custer County Sheriff’s Office continues to coordinate with SWOSU police, saying every lead is being investigated.

Family friend Kara Nichols said, “This community has stepped up in a big way. We just want Logan home safe.”

Authorities Ask for Help

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Custer County Sheriff’s Office or Weatherford Police Department immediately.
