Senate Makes Changes to Appropriations Committee

 Senate leadership has made a change in the chairman of the appropriations committee. Veteran Republican lawmaker Roger Thompson of Okemah has been replaced by fellow Republican Senator Chuck Hall of Perry. Senate President Pro Tem Greg Treat praised Thompson for having a firm handle on the state budget. Treat says he was impressed by the way Hall navigated the ARPA process for Oklahoma.
