recreational pot petition begins

The effort to gather over 173-thousand signatures on a new state question initiative petition has begun.  State Question 837 would permit the sale of marijuana to anyone age 21 or older.   Petition Circulators face the task under a new system for gathering the signatures which is the subject of a pending lawsuit. The process now puts limits on where circulators can gather signatures and how many can come from urban versus rural locations.
