A Butterfly not often seen in Oklahoma, is apparently more widespread than first thought in the Sooner state.  Growing numbers of the unique Diana fritillary are being reported mostly across eastern Oklahoma.  The male Diana fritillary is black with bright orange wing tips.  The female is also black but with blue wing tips.  They are listed at high risk of extinction.
