Oklahoma Women Advance in SEC Tournament

The Oklahoma women SEC tournament run continues after the Sooners advanced to the quarterfinals with an 82–64 win over the Florida Gators.

The fifth-seeded Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball team controlled the game against the 12th-seeded Florida Gators, securing the victory and moving forward in the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament.

The win sends Oklahoma into the next round of tournament play as the Sooners continue their postseason push.

Raegan Beers Reaches Historic Milestone

A major highlight of the night came from Sooners center Raegan Beers, who achieved a rare milestone in program history.

Beers became just the third player in Oklahoma women’s basketball history to surpass 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

She is also currently the only active Division I player to reach that combination of career marks.

The milestone places Beers among the most accomplished players ever to wear a Sooners uniform.

Sooners Prepare for LSU Matchup

With the victory, the Oklahoma women SEC tournament run now moves to the quarterfinals.

The Sooners are scheduled to face LSU in the next round of the tournament.

Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m., as Oklahoma looks to continue its momentum and advance deeper into the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket.
