Oklahoma law enforcement now ticketing tribal members for their license tags

If you drive a vehicle with a tribal license plate, do not live on tribal lands, and your tribe has not compacted with the state for a license plate tax, you can now be ticketed. The Oklahoman newspaper reports that it has already happened in Garfield County, and the person received a ticket over $200.
