The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals is deciding whether to expand the time period between executions of death row inmates from 60 to 90 days. Attorney General Gentner Drummond says the current schedule puts too much pressure on those involved in the process.
With 13 executions pending, Rowland pointed out that expanding the time period between them would add another full year for final justice to occur for victims’ families.
