Thousands of Oklahoma Families to Lose Child Care Help in January

Beginning January 1, Oklahoma’s child care subsidy program for school-aged children six and older will officially end. Renewals that came due at the end of October have already been cut off.
More Than 23,000 Families Impacted
State data shows:
23,000 Oklahoma families
32,000 childrenwill lose financial assistance.
Many parents now face child care costs exceeding $1,000 per month.
