Scam Details
Oklahoma City officials are warning residents of a spoofing scam in which callers impersonate Municipal Court employees or law enforcement. Victims are told they must pay tickets over the phone or face arrest.
What To Do
Authorities stress that the court never demands payments by phone. If you receive one of these calls, hang up immediately and call the Municipal Court directly at (405) 297-3898 during regular business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m., weekdays).
